The all new Appleseed ACE Hardware in Mansfield will celebrate an official Grand Opening celebration this weekend on Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17, 2016.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The phone number for Appleseed ACE Hardware is 419-756-8340. Jarett Ramey, store manager, and his team are ready to serve the Mansfield community.

The new Appleseed ACE Hardware features expanded departments, including; lawn and garden, outdoor power equipment, builder’s hardware, electrical, housewares, and tools. A full service Paint Department will offer Valspar, Clark & Kensington, and custom color matching. An expanded Plumbing Department with pipe cutting and threading is offered, as well. Other services include: screen repair, glass cutting, key cutting including automotive chip keys and automotive entry key fobs, and propane exchange.

E&H Hardware to Purchase Foster’s ACE Hardware – Piketon
The family owned E&H Hardware Group is in the process of purchasing Foster’s ACE Hardware located at 617 Southwest Street, Piketon, Ohio. E&H Hardware will continue as an ACE Hardware, serving the Pike County community and surrounding areas. The Buehler family started in the hardware business in 1965 as part of Buehler’s Fresh Foods, and has expanded to seventeen ACE Hardware locations in Ohio.
Foster’s ACE Hardware was founded in 1978 by Fred Foster, who began as a True Value Hardware, and changed to the ACE brand in 1996.After 38 years, Fred plans to retire from the hardware business, and focus his energy on his responsibilities as a recently elected Pike County Commissioner and spending more time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Foster’s ACE Hardware employees will be asked to continue working for E&H Hardware in the current location when the name changes to ACE Hardware. Additional employees may be hired to replace the current owners. The present friendly, helpful staff at Foster’s Hardware represent over 150 years of combined, professional experience and will continue to be available to help with each customer’s needs.
ACE Hardware will continue to sell and service “Stihl” power equipment and a great selection of products and services. The goals of ACE Hardware are the same as Foster’s Hardware; to provide helpful, friendly professional service to every customer.
The hardware will close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, and reopen at 8:00a.m. on Monday, April 18th in order to complete the transfer.Existing House Accounts are encouraged to complete a new application between now and then in order to be set up in the new computer system and facilitate a smooth transition in purchasing.
